How to Breathe when doing Kettlebells?
A lot of people ask me how to breathe when doing kettlebells. If you do kettlebell training, this quick article on breathing may be of interest to you.
In kettlebell training, as a general rule of thumb you should breathe in when the iron is coming towards you and breathe out when the kettlebell is going away from you. For example in Kettlebell Swings, breathe out when the iron is between the legs and you're driving the hips forward in an explosive movement. Breathe in when the kettlebell is going downwards.
Of, course there will be exceptions to this general rule, but you just need to remember this simple breathing mechanics for most of the exercises presented here on Body Workout TV.
